Hi guys new here but spent some money trying to get this radio tuned had some guy mike work on it and now it suck have little to no money but m father lives in california and i live in north carolina an for fathersday we usually talk skip to eachothr but i cant do it now wen i sent it in it had no swing dk at 40 now i can only dk at 8 no swing i dont hav the best setup but i run a antron 99 and a syrio 4 element with a 4 pill i used to hit cali no problem now cant contact the people i used to somebody please help....thanks....

the radio is a connex 3300hp dont know whats all been done to the inside but i do have replacement finals and driver for it just incase it needs them brand new. but i dont know much about all of this sorry
The first problem I see is you said it used to dead key 40 watts, that's not even possible for any version of the Connex 3300.
At this point since it's probably janked up from this Mike dude, best bet is to save up some cash and sent it in to a quality shop.
If you actually have a beam antenna and amplifier like you say a 15 dollar used Craigs list Cobra radio should at least get you talking. This is assuming there is nothing wrong with your antenna system, jumpers, power supply, and so on.

dk waswith the amp on but good idea cobra was alway good radio i thinki might trash this connex n just get a cobra craigslist good idea........btw that was mike from radioactive.....
Sorry to hear of your bad luck. Radioactive is a known radio hack. Where are you in NC? I'm in Raleigh, will help if I can.
