Hey guys,

any suggestions on a magnet mount and antenna for mobile that will run 10&11 meters? I did a bunch of searching but came up with not much.

Thanks in advance

Sirio PL5000 performer and 145 mag mount works great

Any antenna that has a usable signal bandwidth that will cover both 10 and 11 meters without any adjustments is a very inefficient antenna. If such an antenna will satisfy your requirements then jump on it.
The same base loading/matching coil of either of the antennas mentioned could probably be made to work fine on either bad with the correct length of whip. That's two whips, one for each band.
Whale of a difference between 'working' and working well...

The Sirio looks really nice but way big, compared to the Wilson 5000 and the Wilson 500. Am I wrong?

I'm trying to keep a low profile on a Audi Q7. so I will be running the antenna off and mount on by itself more often than not.

Does anyone know if there is a major difference between the 5000 and the 500? seems like 8" in whip length and 35$ cost difference but the website doesn't show much of a comparison for them. But the coil profiles are differently shaped for sure.

Does it have to be a mag mount? You will get better performance if you can hard mount the antenna. Is this an option?

Low profile and performance do not equal. If you want good antenna performance you need to get the drill out. Ball mount a 102" whip and not a single mobile antenna made will out perform it on the band you want. If you want wide band coverage then again the 102" raises its hand. Another option is a screw driver antenna but that is a huge cost for just a couple of band. Last option would be get a couple of Hamsticks, two 10 meter ones and cut the whip on one for 11. Whatever way you go seriously think about NOT using a mag mount.

Yeah Hard mount isn't an option at this point. The only way I would is a trailer hitch set up, but I have to install the hitch first. Drilling the body isnt an option as the entire roof is a sunroof except for the last 12" before the tailgate.

K40 or wilson 5000 looking at the truck, maybe a smaller sirio setup like the 125 mag mount with the performer 4000 or similar, if you go to the contact area of DNJ radio, you can email him as to what you are looking for, good people and top notch customer service. Good luck and hope you find a solution. Nice vehicle by the way!!

Ran a Wilson 1000 & 5000 for the last 17 years. Both good antennas. But I tuned my Sirio 5000PL with the Sirio 145 PL mag mount to 1:7 on 26.950 to 1:8 on 28.740. on my 2008 Chrysler T&C mini van. Which I feel is very good. And it's next to the rack cross bar. I had remove about 1 1/4" off the stinger. This is truly a super talking antenna. Giving me about 5 more miles over the Wilsons. And just for the freebanders. My SWR is 1:1 on 27.555 as seeing on my MFJ-259. I love the fact that this one antenna can do both 10 & 11 meters.
I don't think I'll every use any other antenna on either band.
