IT DID CLOSE DOWN FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS MAYBE A QUICK OPENING A MONTH OR TWO AND THAT WAS IT.

BETTER build some antennas for 80 and 160, 40 usually gets bad to but still has openings. I have been hearing a number of SOUTH AMERICA ON JT65 ON 80METERS lately.

Heard some dx last night around dark time. 7-8pm. Not sure how long it lasted but had east coast from VA to NY and the usual, AL, TN, OH, and such. Very sporadic though. There one minute gone the next type deal. Anyway it will come back. Let it cool down a bit!! I sure want it to cool down at least!! Been a hot summer even here around central FL. Not to mention the heatwave affecting so many others across the country!!

get some rain a few days ago from that tropical storm?....it's a nice 73 degrees here today with a nice breeze, Don't know your #'s, mine is #157 I'm usually hanging out on 27.425..... 73 your way.... got the TR-6990F Jumbo I got from ButtFuzz.....Sweet radio... I hear 115 in Florida right now on 27.285 talking to copperhead, He's about 40 minutes north of me.....looks like it's picking up again....unnamed.jpg

talking to your State, my QSK went unheard ...I did talk to Paul #77 in Florida about and hour ago, that was on 27.425.....I don't go down to 27.385 very often.....I'm on 27.425 if
