Hi. Would anyone please look in their notes to see what the mic cable colors to pins info is for a 5 pin 2000 GTL to a Shure 526T II mic. Purdy please.

I've looked around but found no mention.

Thanks.

The blue "power supply ground" goes to pin 4. This is the ground for transmit/receive switching only. The shield goes to pin 2, which is ground for audio only.

Pin 3 is receive, the black wire. Pin 5 is transmit, the red wire. Yellow is not used, and was only needed for older Johnson CB radios.

Pin 1 is audio, the center conductor of the shielded wire. Diagram says it's white.

Should work.

And seems like it did work! We'll know tomorrow when I can snag a new 9 volt battery. Right now it receives and transmits so that leads me to a big thank you for the help.

It worked. There was one tiny thread of ground wire that got soldered to the white wire thus grounding the audio. With some sleep and food i redid it all. Works peachy now. Not as bass heavy as I had heard but not bad.
