So me and my two sons had a tradition of watching the 24 hour marathon of Christmas Story every year. I'm not sure where she found it, but my sweet wife and my sons bought this for me on Father's day about 10 years ago.It came already packed full of great memories. And you’re right, it is a prized possession.

Very interesting! And oh boy, that's one big leg lamp!! Hahaha... That movie definitely holds a warm place in my heart.

Hahaha... Yes, it's definitely a sickness. Me and @undertaker are always talking about this. We both have a hard time with buying all of the new toys. And I understand not wanting to get rid of anything.
I should have hooked up with you guys when I was in San Angelo. I got one of the Undertakers radios, he must have been in a weak moment

Two years since I posted this, my station has a different look. As you all know, it's an ever evolving project.
And this is my newest baby you see sitting on the desk. I can't even begin to describe how great this radio operates and sounds.
I most recently had a long QSO with @unit_399 in Columbia and did very well.
