The propagation forecast for today, September 9th for the 12 to 10 meter bands is "GOOD". We'll need to put that to the test on our usual schedule today and tomorrow.

I've been able to hear some skip activity on LSB 38, but it has been tame compared to the pile-ups that are all too common. I've called out on LSB 16 a few times, but have not gotten any responses, nor have I heard any other stations there.

NOt much skip this Monday morning. LSB 38 is dead. I'm hearing Brasil on LSB 37 and LSB 36 has a Canadian station talking to a Florida station I can't hear. That is all the skip I am hearing. I hope things improve as the day moves on.

The predictor says "FAIR" conditions for the daytime hours and "POOR" conditions at night. What I am hearing is a band that is dead this afternoon!

It depends on a few factors, but the daylight hours are typically the most skip-friendly. On LSB 16, we've tried to encourage folks to try at the top of each hour on Saturdays and Sunday, so 1:00P.M.; 2:00P.M., 3:00P.M., etc. Give a shout out when you're up to it.
