    I love my 139XLR I just wisht mine looked as good as yours. They sound great on sideband. I ran a Extreme 2018 microphone with mine. When I get it out of storage and back in action I need to find a good base microphone.

    Good conditions this morning in South Texas, I made a contact to Oregon on ssb and a couple of AM contacts out east. Yesterday was tough though. Lots of action on the cb band and below channel 1.

    I never seen them live. But looks like they put on a good show. They don't have any current tour dates. Their mix of guitars drums and sax kicks butt.

    Yesterday wasn't too good for me for dx. But this morning I hooked my old 148 with a 203 up to a 2 element beam 10 feet off the ground and I was getting out to from Michigan, Ohio, the Carolinas and Florida. This was on AM and sideband. I was able to hear myself on a couple of SDR stations too...

    Yesterday I talked with a great sounding station from Minnesota on 26.805 FM. He told me he has talked overseas on FM as well. I have talked on FM in North America only. Any other frequencies I should try for overseas FM?? What time are you usually on 26.805?

    Yep. If you listen there when dx is rolling you may hear operators on there giving you a frequency to qsy to for contact.
