Mine wasn't a radio, but a transducer for a fish finder. It made it to Ft Smith Arkansas, an hour away then FedEx has no clue what happened to it. This was the 3rd attempt at ordering this transducer, I finally just gave up.

Could be. I did hear some north east stations and a few Canadian stations but I wasn't having much luck that direction. Conditions are a fickle thing, sometimes I hear other Oklahoma stations and can't contact them, but then talk to a station in San Diego.

Those are pretty cool. I also like that they're stackable, my first thought was those are perfect for running a mobile as a base because you wouldn't need an external speaker unless you just wanted one.
