    Coax, null or not?

I have always said that if you have a quality antenna with a quality install and proper grounding, the coax should be virtually transparent. I still get laughed at with that response, but I have been playing radio since 1964 when my older brother got me interested, and I have so many installs I...

    11 meter is very quiet?

Thanx. I did go against my own judgement and filed an informal complaint with the FCC. Seems my complaint falls under 2 rules; part 15 and part 95. It has been determined that CB IS a licensed piece. It's a license by rule piece and therefore, cannot be knowingly interfered with. AND, The...

    11 meter is very quiet?

That would be good! I'm still dealing with the noise, tho, so you'd have to give me a good 9s units for me to understand you. My skip days are limited until I can get this fixed.

Exactly. Which is what the power company and I both tried to do, prior to the complaint. These people are very strange and private. Hopefully, the FCC sends one to the landlord as well. I have NO faith in the neighbor pounding on my door.

In order for a field rep to show up I would need to file a FORMAL complaint, which would cost me over $600.00. I am not willing to spend $600 on an endeavor that may or may not solve my issues. I did file an informal complaint and the people will receive a letter explaining that they're been...

This isn't quite true. According to FCC rule: "Your neighbor’s devices must not cause harmful interference: At the same time, FCC Part 15 (which covers most household electronics) says unlicensed devices may not cause harmful interference to licensed radio services. The CB Service is a...

I've attempted to open a dialog with these folks for the 5 years they've lived here. The day they were moving in I introduced myself and offered to help them carry stuff. They grunted, never told me their names and kept walking. I've tried waving when seeing them in the back yard ... no...
