    Simple thermal tracking can be applied by mounting the clamping diode to the top of one of the RF output transistors. It's so very easy to implement a simple unregulated thermal tracking bias I don't know why anyone would build without it. Of course if you are biasing up around the .7 volt...

    From the off state Key the mic, press the mode and menu buttons and keep them all held while powering on the radio.

    Thanks for the reply. I don't think it's the same as V2. I watched the first posted video for V2 before it was made private and I remember something about pushing a bunch of the buttons across the front from left to right....I think but can't exactly recall.
