Yes sir. I believe this is the 3rd new radio in the last month. It happens. I’ve never had to dink with the board. Does the VR calibrate the warning light or the meter itself? I suspect if it calibrates the meter, the light will take care of itself.

Galaxy dx55F High SWR and warning light. Using dummy load or antenna (both of which are at about 1.1 swr) this 55F shows between 2.5-3 swr and the warning light lights up during modulation. It’s only in this radio. Coax is not an issue. I’ve even hooked up directly to the dummy load and the...

Poor solder joint at audio chip. Though, even after I reflowed it, the problem still persisted. I didn’t diagnose it until I started reflowing solder while the radio was on so I knew when o was onto something.

***Fixed*** Audio chip. Even after reflowing all the legs, there was still no audio. Then, I resoldered it while it was turned on and it got scratchy as I soldered. I desoldered everything, cleaned all the traces and legs, then resoldered. Thanks guys!

I did notice that. Strangely, the location where that 1st leg (closest to the front of the radio) normally solders to, still has a full 13+ volts. This radio is brand new out of the box from the factory. The picture was just to show which board it has since most people aren’t familiar with it...

A new radio came in with low RX audio. Volume cranked, ear to speaker, then I can hear it. Rf gain level is up and signal meter responds as it should so the rf is there. The audio is just almost nonexistent. Note: TX and Talkback audio is fine.

Unless it's 5-10 years old (not sure when they made the change), it has 4 mosfet finals in it.

Andy For the open clarified I lifted leg to d68 and r123, then, ran jumper from 8 volt rail. I do a couple every day just like that. Again, put back to stick when I noticed no RX during Alignment. Silly me. Should have check RX beforehand but ya know...saving time ‍♂️. Thanks...I’ll go back on...

No AM Receive No FM receive USB and LSB receive works fine TX works on all modes Everything else works PA Works New radio. Didn’t notice issue til after frequency alignment and open clarified mod. Reverted back to stock. Rechecked work.
