hello guys,,i have an old regency cb-701 40 channel base..problem with this radio is out going tx audio is weak..also it has talkback coming back through speaker..doesnt have talkback feature.rx incoming audio is good.also tx carrier is good.any ideas very much appreciated..thanks in...

yes you are correct.i misunderstood,,i thought you had no tx in am..have you checked for bad solder connections..

found the problem with this radio..bad solder connection in the vco area

hi there,,i have a connex 3300 with the ept-3600 14b pc board.it transmits and modulates fine..but it has a bad humming sound on both tx and rx audio..strange thing this is just on band d in regular cb mode.in all the other modes,and low and high channels it is nice a quite..just a quick look at...
