    Yeah not a bad idea SM but I assume you realize too one can get freq readout already with button pushes on the digits on this radio. Pretty compact I feel it would be a bit tricky to install a 6 digit freq counter. Nice idea though and the thought crossed my mind too. Happy DXing 73, Retro
