    I have a 88 with Dual final. The radio would do about 50 watts and then it droped to 25. If it lost a driver or one final would it cause this? How do you check the finals? I installed a af power kit from road star and a m80. This happened about 3 weeks after the mods

    My buddy brought his 500 dx over was going to hook up and see what it was doing on meter. Then he hooked the + to the- just touched it a small spark. And when he hooked it up right i keyed up and smoke L1 was fried and help? Anyone had this to happen...

    I was in to this stuff about 15 years ago.Is there a board that can be put in the Uniden Grant XL to have upper and lower channel i have the cb tune up books but they dont have all the channel as my superstar 121 and not as easy to use Thanks for the help just trying to get back in to...

    I have a superstaer 121 and my buddy got a new galaxy dx949 we were trying to talk on low band on my radio but his would not do it is ssb not the same as my low if not what mod would i need to do to his radio to get it to have same channel as mine. ssb is not the same as lower and upers ???????????
