The SBE mic was made by Belcom if someone may have the mic but the SBE sticker may have come off.

I seen the mic listed for $175.00 on ebay. Rather salty for a used mic. Please let me know if there is a decent SX100 or if the Console V is in decent shape in the equipment you are checking out. Thank you..

This is probably a dumb question. If I put up the AP, the mast will be 37 feet. Does that length affect the performance in anyway?

One more question on the A/P. Has it been figured out what wave it is? 1/4, 1/2 or 5/8? Not that it matters just as long as it works.

Marconi, Thank you for the info. Is there any truth that aluminum/metal antennas have less "white noise" than fiberglass antennas? I run a Yaesu that is very good on receive and I can filter down the static but I just hate to not give the new Targa/Astroplane a try for old time sake.
