LOL ya you can actually hear the plastic grinding if on the receiving end. Run mine as a base, using a turner +3 or sometimes a d-104, good reports, but what the heck were they thinking with that stock mic.

The Turner +3 has a speech compressor circuit, and without a doubt sounds a whole lot more natural than a d104. Loud too.

Bob85, that did the trick. There is a screw to hold down the mic head, once you remove the front piece and the mic element. tightened it up, and put it back together.
