    LOL ya you can actually hear the plastic grinding if on the receiving end. Run mine as a base, using a turner +3 or sometimes a d-104, good reports, but what the heck were they thinking with that stock mic.

    any mic with smoooth bassy sound?

    The Turner +3 has a speech compressor circuit, and without a doubt sounds a whole lot more natural than a d104. Loud too.

    Ah!!!! been scratching my head for a while now, I have a loose mic head,real loose, and wondered how the heck to get in. So Just remove the silver Turner sticker, and that should give me access to a bolt of some kind???
