    10 meter is very quiet?

10 & 11 meters are quite different bands.11 meters is open far more than 10 meters and as usual the FCC Gave Away the better band for sure.Listen to 11 meters when the signals are marginal and go to 10 meters and try and hear anything including a beacon and more times than not you will hear nothing.

    HEIL ICM icom only mic.

I own many different HEIL microphones including the iCM,FIN,PR-20,Goldline PRO, PR-781&” & PR-22.I find that the FIN & PR-20 which use the same element sound the best on an ICOM 7600,756 PRO II, & 7700.The iCM sounds better on the 746 and 703+ and these were all tested on the air in my shack.I...

    Icom IC-7610 and RT Systems

I know this is an Old post but I was told that the 7610 doesn’t have a tone board for 6 & 10 meter repeaters? I am purchasing a New 7610 this week and I can’t find any information about this? I lost my ICOM 7700 to a lightning strike 5 weeks ago and I was going to purchase another one or my...

    WM-1 meter

All are 12 volts and only one is original unless someone cut the wall wart Off of the other two or added a wall wart to one of them.

    WM-1 meter

Depends upon the version you have. I own Three of them & one has a Negative center & the other two are Positive center. I can't tell the difference just looking at the meters so I don't mix up the power cables & I have the rear of the meters market as to what plugs they take.

    WM-1 meter

I own Three of the WM-1 meters. Calibrate them & they stay calibrated. I have been using them for 20 years or more & for HF it's my Go To wattmeter. It's only good for 100 watts on 6 meters or I'd use one there as well. The Black Face model is the original model & the rest were white faced.

    Starter HAM setup?

I'm guessing you are talking about Goob-WW4US in Green Cove Springs,Florida? He's great with them but we live 45 miles apart & I am not driving over there every few days for repairs. He's a long time friend.

    Starter HAM setup?

I only own ICOM gear these days. I am not a fan of any brand made in the USA. I'm going to stick with what has served me well over time. I don't want any that don't have a band scope for HF/6 meters built into the radio itself & that has a touch screen. I have had terrible service from Yaesu...

How much does your station weigh?

IT'S FUNNY HOW THINGS WORK OUT SOMETIMES

We get South America most every day here in North Florida so it's very possible we could work there with little effort. Congratulations on the tower.

How much does your station weigh?

In the shipping box it weighs 77 lbs according to the label on the outside shipping box & that's just the ICOM 7700. I believe the radio weighs 66 lbs itself but I'm not sure if that includes the Big handles that I also have installed because they look COOL & they came with it. The weight of the...
