It was aligned, the bottom lid was removed, but the filter mod required access from the solder side of the board, the top lid, which still had the sticker intact. I'm planning to send the radio out at some point to have the filter mod done, but theres not a lot of motivation since most say it...
My dipole is about 10ft off the ground, tied to the side of my house. I got out to Italy and other European countries, which according to the map is about 13,000mi away... Now how the heck did that happen!? :tt2:
Just to add a little more about the Die Hard Platinum/Odyssey batteries, I had 5 batteries and a 270A alternator in my little Scion xB to power the sound system I had (4x15"s walled, ~7000W RMS of amplifier). The one Group 31 Die Hard I have left after selling everything else (purchased about...
If you want to dabble in any kind of live sound, such as in a church, I would recommend buying and reading and keeping handy (as a great reference) the Yamaha Sound Reinforcement Handbook. Known as one of the bibles of live sound engineers. The Sound Reinforcement Handbook: Gary Davis, Ralph...
Don't know the exact math, but keep in mind, the greater the load, the less usable capacity a lead-acid battery has. A 20Ah battery has 20 hours of operation at a 1A load, but that does not correlate to 10 hours at 2A, its something less, maybe 6-7 hr. At 5A, it would be significantly less...

All those are is a 7~10Ah lead acid battery with various connectors on it (and a small inverter). You could buy just the bare battery for under 50 bucks and put your own terminals on it for what you want to do. Grab a Deltran Battery Tender and hook it up, and the battery will always be...
I'm not sure what the Black Widow means either, but do note that the variable power knob isn't good for too many watts, the potentiometer will fry. If you leave it wide open its fine, but if you turn it down and put a lot of watts in, eventually no watts will come out.
It's under 20W in, but the power supply I have isn't enough for the amp. (Astron RS 35A) If it were in my mobile with the 270A alt and two batteries, it wouldn't be a problem.;)
Oh it's amp lights flickering, not my house lights heh heh. Undersized PSU for the amp...
