I hade a Nitro 300 made by Transel. nice units and mine was modded a bit but still couldn't do 1kw.lol you can try a Heathkit SB220. I have one an keyup at 500 and swing 1000 or more on 11 meters it has to EZ-500 tubes in it. I sure there be more posts on better tube amps.... Peace

Thats because a Z diode is across the MOSFET to level it to 20 volts tops and the gain is great, more stable then a bipolar transistor :) I still want to do with with a IRF520 :)

If done right and adjusted right yes more watts avg trans 16-18 watts the ERF-2030 is an 25 watts.. if its a ssb radio good luck its a bit harsh till you get it fine tuned theres tons of transistors left and well worth the money ... china is blowing smoke :P ERF-2030 in my testing and not...

I have a mobile antenna krylon painted and it is coiled . I get the same SWR and receive before and after 2-2000 watts paint and skin are 2 different things :P

if you look really good that is a quad mount :) also if you did drill a hole you would have to make some kind of support brackets ( square or round ,metal or fiberglass) to support the wind load for that baby :) so thats is the antenna hole and 4 or so smaller holes for nuts and bolts...that...

Well the dude I got it from hangs with badboy a shootout champ! bodboy made it along with 3 other antennas for my friend and he ran it with a 3pill driving and 8 pill running a 24 pill with 3 alts and 16 6 volt batterys along with 1 commercial battery, so it pounds some watts.He keyed this...

you monkeyMade trader looks great. how much for that antenna? I am using a black AL C'apone with a tram try-mag mount picked up for 75 bucks along with a texasStar sweet sixteen shell, all there but the pills :P

dual antenna whips don't even get out far :) and yes 9' or more apart(12' Co-phased bought out of a place in Louisiana :P)...I use mine grounded as a receive,but both work as transmit to but not more then 400 watts.. (but are both tuned for 27.16).Tuning screws on the top and a dummy load...

I have Trackers/forums and have mine auto delete 30 days old stuff ..from a cleanup file! if you ran servers you will notice databases do get stuffed and slow things down.....some do bitch because there ranks or titles work off posts , but theres a manual button for that to :P not saying that...
