My yard now is smaller so I'm trying to figure out the max to put and doing two, one on each side , another words two horizontals and a horizontal one leg and other inverted and vice versa other side of back yard, plus 55 or 65 feet of pole for imax 2000 to go on top of.
I saw a few were they placed it as I did @18" below feed point( SO-239 ) and another at the outside of were it went into, but for me I would have to crawl under the house and do it or do it right at the inside curious in that, another I saw close to feed point inches looked like on a fiberglass...
What I am doing it going to run an iMax 2000 up 65' at the base and another at 45' and run at 36' a wire setup. I am seeking omni directional for the wires mainly and why the L I want to run 88' per side and 66' 44' 33' 22' for fun and run harmonics on some and also some use tuner for rest just...
Ok, but how about what it is omni directional or directional if done Horizintally flat topped in an L shape as well as inverted V done like an L but at a corner and it is going in two different direction as in one side goes north and the other side east or south and other side west ect ect what...
Mine I just coiled the coax 18" below the SO-239 made 5 turns at 4.25" ID. Made a real difference bleeding over anything and everything. SWR's did not change a bit I basically can go from 18-30Mhz with 1.7:-1.8:1 and at 26-28Mhz are under 1.5:1 acording to the Mfj analyzer.
Which would be best either inverted V or Horizintal for a dipole, as well as does it have to be perfectly straight line or can it be L shape in yard to gather more space for longer run? And to be more ok I directional.
Was wondering on Ameritron amps that are 120 but can be used on 240/250v you can put your own plug on but some have the 240/250v plug already on usually a 6-15p my question is can I put a 10-30p on it or any type 200-250v type plug?
