Noleen1 For what a 2950DX costs new you could buy a clean used HF rig. Something like a Kenwood TS140, 440 or Yeasu FT840. You will have a lot more radio than a 2950 DX. I always try and steer radio operators to a good HF radio, they have better receivers and sound so sweet on the air. 73's...
