    Is the noise constant when running or just when the fan kicks on? Some guys I work with get a lot of noise when the fan kicks in. The guys running 29's with stock mics have it real bad.

    What ant. you using? And how is it mounted? Stock coax? I'm driving an 05 granite, with a galaxy 66, wilson 2000 and Davemade2x4 with no problems. I put in a noise suppressor and grounded the ant. bracket to the the chassis.

    What coax do I use with amp?

    I been using the RG-8X for 3 years with no problem on a 2x4. RG213 is a P.I.T.A. in a big truck, not much flexibility, but in 4 wheeler works great.

    GALAXY 979 INSTALLING ECHO BOARD

    red is audio in, white is audio out. Both shield wires next to those to ground. Black to ground. Check the pins on the on/off switch with a voltmeter, red goes to constant 12V, orange to pin that gets 12V when radio turned on. That's how I did it. Good Luck!

    I just put echo in one for a friend, I like the blue lights and the black face. The chrome covers I could care less about, and the variable talkback is not great but it works.

    If I remember correctly, you can get about 7 1/2 volts from JP35. I can check later on for ya.
