All right guys, I have tried everything with no luck. The audio sounds muffled and not very loud no matter what I do. Any suggestions? I have tried adjusting the compressor and the transmit treble and bass. No good. Thanks.

They are not the same company. HY is owned by Chester Massie and Copper is owned by his brother. Good Luck in anyone telling you this though.

Dave, I agree with you. The audio is loud and clear. The receiver is sensitive and selective at the same time. I also like the two tone roger beep. Ben

I believe that Justin, Northstar, and the rest of the group really did a great job with this radio. I am using one in my pick up and get great reports on the loud clean sounding audio. The receiver is awesome.

I had a truck driver come through with one a few days ago and he was very happy with the radio after I aligned and converted the radio for him. I concur with Dave from DTB Radio, I like what I saw. I must admit I had to get out my magnifying glass to see some of those tiny components.
