Cool, thanks for the reply. I was just kicking the idea around. I've always wanted a set of those Mac Mono blocks. I know what you mean when you talk about current. I have a Denon PMA-900V integrated that really drives a set of 4 ohm speakers well.

Is it OK to use 6JE6, 6JE6A, & 6JE6B tubes for the driver in my Thunderbolt 305? I have a good stock of these things & would like to use them instead of my 6LQ6's if possible. Thanks.
