Well, bang for the buck has to be the Magnum 257 IF you can find one. I dont like the RX of them though....They have alot of noise. You can get a 2510 for under $200 now days....They are alot of radio for the money

I have broke 2 mirror mounts off and also ripped apart 2 of the heavy duty Astatic teardrop mounts. Not even a scratch to the 10K although I did cut the ball off of the end of the stinger so it would not catch on things.

After the initial warm up I notice no drift in my 95T. I run mine at a 20 watt DK swinging to 80 on AM and the varible power wide open and mic gain at 3 o'clock on SSB getting 150 watts out the back door. Never had a bad report with it either on AM or SSB. My locals cant tell the difference...
