Go to "recent activity" and try it.

Doesn't matter, once the thread is no longer marker "new" there is no way to end up on the last post like before.

The 2950 is surface mount, correct? If so I wouldn't mess with it, the 29 might be the better option.

Funny thing about that, the old site had a button to take you to the last post and this one does not. If the post is unread, it takes you to the last post but only to the first post if it's read. The old site gave you the ability to do either.

And the biasing issue doesn't even take the unregulated supply into account if you are even remotely serious about SSB.

This is a pretty tired subject, but ...... You don't need a driver section with an 80w radio, and that XForce will sound like shit on SSB unless you pay extra for biasing.

Go with tubes. A pair of 572b's or a single 3-500z would fit the bill.

There is no magical number to shoot for except as high as you can safely get it. If 5' is all you can do than 5' it is. 50' would be better, but it'll work.
