Does anyone own one of these? I've got one here need some help with a red wire and orange wire that I think belong on the mic input board coming from the pa/cb plug board on the back for the orange red looks like its solder to where the normal plug for external speaker would be on the main...

I have an older 76xl here when my counter shows I'm on center slot for channel 13 my rx in no where near it was looking around for test points to hook counter up to adjust the rx and tx frequency to get it back on track can't seem to find any alignment info for this radio any help would be awesome.
So your saying the existing cap at c79 is just fine just pull the side facing the front of the board add 22 to the hole tie to the other side of c79 add wire at that joint sounds straight forward enough I'll post results....
Anyone have info on how to add the expo 1000 kit to these says remove coupling cap and replace with the one from kit on cb tricks which one is that? I have a kit just not the full instructions to use it.
I was under the impression that the older iron core delivered higher voltage to the amp section it self seems like the radio doesn't seem like it puts out what it used to with the iron core.
Not sure what rt1s even are probably some shitty dei clone or rebrand like pp100 sorry to hear this for sure. Still have my questions about the power supply "upgrade" though as well.
Has anyone seen less over all output when doing this seems to me that my radio doesn't do as much pep out put with the switching supply. I was under the impression that the voltage that went to the amp board was higher on the amp section for some reason think I set my voltage at about 14.6v
