Yes It does stay the same from AM to SSB......There's a small mod I had to do to it, and all it is a small bridge of solder that you have to jump inside of freq counter and it works fine for the price....... Good Ol Defpom has a break down on procedure. Click on Galaxy FC-347 freq counter...

Yes it does work on TX and RX.....It's a Galaxy FC-347.......Not a bad little unit.......You can fine them on Ebay for just over 40.00 bucks........I wish the numbers were a little larger.......I'm going blind.......hehe.......73's
