I never got around to installing the board. My issue with the tab is that the metal tab mounts to the board then it’s screwed into the chassis. I was gonna build one then found out dude on FB was making one so I wanted to see his board so I bought one. It’s built on the Connex CX4300HP final section. My only gripe was the way they did the tabs. I wanted to make boards for myself for 1969 replacements.Nothing special really.

The chip on the SP-1A is a Compander SA-571, I've built a few boards and they do work well. Although similar , the Cobra ST compander sucks and sounds like poop compared to the SP-1A IMO

Lincoln II is basically a Stryker 955 in different clothes. Mic and mod circuit is the same. NPC mod will allow you to swing for the fences if you wanted

Easy way is do it like the eBay swing mods if using through board parts. Just add wires to the ends and heat shrink. Easier to attach wires than rigid component leads.
