    Sparky nice guy and very knowledgeable.. but short on conversation..he says he so busy..well to me, in today's world being busy is good.. but he cuts you off and has to take another phone call without really satisfying your call.. just my take..

    Yes, very, very, very common on that type of radio.. let it warm up for 1/2 hour or so, or what I do is never turn if off.. which I have found to be the best and most accurate.. Doug:)

    Ham here also...N7JGN... I don't get on 2m or 70cm much because I feel I am not welcome.. they are kinda a snobby bunch.. Nerds would you say? LOL not my type. HF is much different.. better guys with a sense of humor.. I like HF.. 10-80 meters.. LOL.. :biggrin:
