I heard K 40 I think it is buying them out of BR... K 40 is Big in all Truck Stops etc.. so it makes sense.. Marketing is what K 40 does well.. google it and K 40 pops up all the time consistently ..

I have tried almost all and also have ICOM 7000, but the Magnum S-3 thru S-9 sound the best... no doubt.. Doug :thumbup:

I have ICOM 7000 with good ears.. but the Magnum S-9 and S-980 compared side by side with ICOM 7000 have equal ears on 11 meters.. jsut my 2 cents.. Doug :)

Been licensed here for 30 yrs..started with CB.. If I meet a new Ham and tell them I still like CB they look at me like a Moron.. why is that.. they are small minded in my minded and I hate that.. Doug
