I found this swing mod for another make of radio that puts a resistor and cap in the power supply line to the driver, I'm thinking I might give it a shot. if its the line from the AM AMC. Any thoughts on this mod if it might work for my issue? thanks again.

I have a TRC-457 dead keys 4 and swings to 8 on a peak meter, I need to set the dead key at 1 watt and let it swing to its full potential. can anybody give me a rough idea how I might go about this or a link to where I could get instructions on how to do it. Any parts required and so on. Thanks.

I found out the hard way about full strength Simple green, took the silk screen off a turner plus three I picked up in an estate sale. Ill have to find a silk screen place now I guess. Anybody know any good ones that cater to radio people?
thank for your suggestions, I have used spray 9 in the past on my truck but noticed it dulled the finish after a few cleanings so I was looking for something less harsh, I will try the Simple green first and if it doesn't work then spray 9 it is
I recently purchased some used radio's and the finish looks like it is good shape under the years of dirt that has accumulated on the knobs and face plate, what is a safe cleaner that wont scratch the chrome finish or remove any of the lettering? thanks in advance for your suggestions.
