Sounds like your almost there; it took me a few attempts to get the bending down on the gamma matcher. I used a bench vise, a piece of PVC tube and believe it or not a grease gun. Looking around the garage if found the grease guns round tube cartage worked great to make the hoops on the gamma...

I found it over at a local scrapper / recycle place. They had 12’ pcs for about $5.00 each
