options for 10m? Tarheel 200a, cap hat, 1ft mast, 70" whip

I am quite aware of this, but having less physical size on 80 and 40 WILL mean I take a hit there, and even a hit on 20 and 15 though to a lesser degree I tired 10m on the antenna and it did not work ou... but I knew this was likely before I even got started... so oh well

options for 10m? Tarheel 200a, cap hat, 1ft mast, 70" whip

ok with the antenna fully collapsed it tunes around 21MHz but I knew this would happen my hope was that the performance hit on 10m would be minimal... I also figured the 10m 2nd tap would be closer to 200-250 turns BTW the turns are rotations of the stepper motor in the antenna...

Right now I am running the Tarheel 200a with the 1 ft extension, the (tarheel) cap hat (20" spoked), and a 70" whip (I have ordered the Scorpion cap hat with 3 foot extension,.... it is quite a deal for only $100.00 shipped) The big problem I have ran into is that since the antenna is far...

question about feeding a halo antenna

Now I know that NORMALLY when we feed an HALO antenna we dump the coax shield to the center of the HALO and the coax center conductor goes to a gamma match that goes to one side or the other... HOWEVER when my friends and I built our 2m HALOs last year we fed them with out a gamma mach and...

built a 6m Halo today... something is not right.. but it looks good at least

well I think I know what is going on... I think something nearby is wacking out the antenna, reason I think this is that my SWR meter shows a 5:1 @ 51Mhz and the analyzer shows a 25:1 the meter also shows a 4.5:1 @ 54Mhz that being said adjusting the gamma does not seem to help much, if...

built a 6m Halo today... something is not right.. but it looks good at least

Another thing I had noticed is if I lay a wire on the loop going to the center conductor that the analyzer will start to show something on R
