I have 2 CSI controller/patch I want to sell.
First one is a CSI model 8300R repeater controller and duplex interconnect. Great for a tone board or phone patch
The other one is a CSI MicroPatch model 9800D....Multi mode interconnect...untested and missing top pannel. Has built in dtmf...
No....I don't know what it would be.
the transformer isn't too heavy....and I don't want alot for it.
I can throw in some other parts if you need them too.
Shoot me a PM for more details
I'm up in Northern Alberta Canada.....but I assume it would be under 20 bucks to ship
I have 2 sinclair model q4220e duplexers for sale.
Will tune up between 800 and 960 meg ( might tune lower or higher...possible 700mhz to 1 gig ) and can handle up to 45 mhz separation. Low insertion loss
RES-LOK cavities with low insertion loss ( under 1db)
Can be tuned to desired freq with...
Its for a bi directional amplifier.....
800meg trunking and possibly gsm ( 800meg with 40 meg offset between up and down).
Either way it just a 800-900 meg diplexer schematic that I wanted to take a look at.
In certain industries....intrinsically safe radios are only allowed to be used...
I looking into whats available for diplexer schematics for cellular freqs.
I need to diplex uplink and downlink GSM cellular frequencies.
If anyone has any ideas please post em.
Any and all links or ideas are welcome
if it smoked when you first turned on the power...or got very hot.....look for a dead short. The only thing that will make that transistor get hot when the radio is not keyed is if current is going through it.
make sure the tab is insuled...make sure the insulator is on the screw that holds...
I have a few little Mini Hooker amps....really nice small amps.
For a schematic you could pretty much use a schematic for any amp that used MRF455's... basically you should be able to get by with a similar schematic.
There might be some small differences...but all those style amps are very...
Very neat.
Like those 10 watt ( they look 10 watts) chassis mount resistors... those dam things are expensive.
Very nice layout.
Thanks for posting the pic
..... and that is why I have always liked Jokers
Sp5it was correct.
I will just explain it a different way..
Every 3 db your output power doubles ..if you are putting out 50 watts out of the transmitter but are using a 3db antenna...your effective radiated power would be 100 watts.
If you used a 6db antenna your effective radiating...
Hey Bob...
I'm still hunting that picture of the amp in the washing machine...
While looking for it, I stumbled on this old thread.
Check out Nomads pic.

I'm sure you will remember it.
