you could allways skip the whip and just use wire. make a simple di-pole. 108 inches up to the center of the coax and start with about 118 inches for the down side and hook it to the shield of the coax. trim the longer end after you get it set up to ajust the swr. you could get fancy and hook up...

na it not on the board this one is old.and is just loaner from a friend. must have had to many screw drivers in it. the low rf power wont ajust. LOL make my 8 pill cadillac along at 100 swinging 300. will be sending the 2995dx off to ranger probly next week. :( it only lasted 2 weeks...

i have the m75 not sure of the difference but it works real good.

power tuning pots for high and low power AM and SSB and modulation. thanks in advance. only seeing about 10 watts carrier and max 20 swing. (on high setting) i thought this radio would do a little more than this ?

mine has never done that 2995DX. allthough no its dead from lightening. it did stay working for 2 weeks but now no output. only RX. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG :(

the 2510 is a much better radio.

i feel your pain. i was hit by lighening. radio and amp still worked. but the radio let out the smoke about a week later. 2995DX that i can only listen on. UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGG. :cry: :x
