Has anyone installed the add on boards for the older 655/955’s. I’ve installed one but it’s definitely not acting right. Something needs to be added or changed, I’ve asked Stryker but I keep getting the I’m working on it story. Any help appreciated

Anyone run across a newer model 3300hp burning up TR36 within minutes of changing it. I’m sure it’s a resistor but have to check schematics to find Wich one. Any ideas appreciated

Sideband receive is good. Nothing on monitor radio. Silence.

Have a 98 vhp showing no output. Driver, finals, regulator all check ok. Transmit light turns red has talkback but zero modulation and carrier. Getting the 8 volts transmit and bias on finals are all correct. Took the amp out the loop and no change. Receive is good also. Any ideas appreciated...

I put a whole other face on it ,counter ,channel selector the whole thing and does the same thing on that face. Looks to be stock. Was received like that.

It’s receiving and transmitting on 33 only no matter what channel it’s on.

Hello I have a 959 galaxy that’s stuck on channel 33. I tried a new front board that I had spare and same thing. Checked for cold solder joints anyone had this problem before.

Mirage 36 have no volume for receive. PA works talkback works. Pot for vol is good. Checked several caps in the chain all test good. Anyone come across this problem yet. Same board as the galaxy 66v3 and others.

It’s usually marked on the board but I don’t see it.

Anyone find the spot on the board in the new longhorn to do the 10K Mod. It’s different than the X9. TIA

Who’s the magnum expert here. S3 no receive volume. On off pot was bent so replaced it no change. Receive is working meters moving transmit is good talkback works and PA works. Checked for broken wires and cold or broken solder joints. Any ideas where to look next.

Those look like franks boards. There is another way to stop the Roger silence I do it on the solder side. I’ll have to try your way.

Anyone play with the new 29 LX. It’s all surface mount now. Seems to be a turd. Any mods on it out there I can’t seem to find anything.

Anyone know how to bypass the fixed switch on a 73v. The fixed-10k switch don’t work so I’m stuck with the three fixed channels only. Any help appreciated thanks.
