I have been making pretty steady contacts with Australia on 38LSB lately. But like the others, the Spanish traffic far outweighs the few DX contacts I have been making.

Does anybody do the DX contests anymore? I don't get on like I used too but am on right now talking to Texas loud and clear and Arizona is in the weeds. Maybe I need to come out here and warm this thing up more often.

I had a Wilson 1000 mag on a window unit for while. Never could get the SWR's down under 2:1. I gave up trying to half-ass it and got my IMAX.:D IMHO, I would scan in the apt and xmit in the mobile.
