Yes it can but you want a decent coax switch to do it. There must be adequate isolation between the switching positions. Myself, I only use Alpha Delta switches for that.

Nice find! They were a popular radio back in the day. As I recall they had a 6EU7 in them for the audio which is hard to come by or expensive when you do these days.

This one is a little dark; And this one below is a bit too silvery; But thats not to say all plus 2 paint was the exact same anyway. You can adjust to your preference. I think it's gotta be a hammertone finish to look good.
