it has 2 2sc2879's in it and you can key up and talk yes swings up but you gotta be fast the second you go to say another word it unkeys then keys back up so you gotta tlak real fast

it works fine on am just wont go on ssb puts out a whopping 160 watts avg....about 175pep i would think if there was a relay problem it wouldnt key at all i wouldnt think there is a ssb part for the relay right ?

Hello guys i have a freind who has this amp and he llikes to talk to ssb hes been doing it for a while now and wants to do it with this amp but when he keys up the relay only keys for a split second and then unkeys until he talks is there any ways to get this to key up right on ssb? and he knows...

ok i have a 4 pill palomar 450hd all transistors are gone my brother took them out and used for another amp originally had sd1446's now i have 4 new 2sc2879 can i use them and if so what needs to be changed or modified in amp to handle them i know its probably cheaper to buy new amp or new...

yes has 12v in pin 6 rewire micwrong burn out cpu thats wat was wrong with mine i bought 2 and replaced mine and she works great just really want talk back in it
