yup thats what i need to do also as soon as i get a break from working..the headliner will be comming off and my hole saw will be in use again..nothin beets a hole in the roof
how would a walkie talky do in front of his house just tape it down on freq and throw in the bushes would'nt be able to hear a damn thing.make sure batterys rechargable so you can grab the thing back and recharge..or go kick his ass
i had the super hawk that was a small beam but it did some wonders when i had it..
phil call signal enginering and ask for the parts..when i called for my parts i had it the following week thats when i was in hawaii i sold it to my neighbor.

you have chosen 2 great radios there..if you can get your hands on a Grant XL OR Grant LT that would be a good choice.they both are the same and have great tx and rx.you can get 15 miles depends on your antenna system.i would say 80 percent is your antenna and 20 percent your radio..
you really cant tell you will probly get 10 miles or so..just depends on your antenna setup you can get more.base and mobile varys on how far you would be heard.key it and find out :wink:
