eBay remove CB amps because they are illegal to use so eBay in it's infinite wisdom assumes that means illegal to sell.
So you post it as a 10-12 meter amp. Anyone with half a brain knows what it is if they are in the market.
But this doesn't all ways work either
It doesn't matter what it is there will all ways be smoke and mirrors in advertising.
Most consumers just know they want something, they don't do their homework. They go out and buy it, hook it up like the guy at the store tells them to, then wonder why the magic smoke comes out just after...

If the chassis ground isn't good enough wouldnt that indicated the radio isn't grounded as well as it should be?
Here's my logic on this...
The electrical DC ground for the radio is the chassis of the radio which is then linked to your vehicles ground through the power...
Doesn't make it superior by any means but it makes it better than the way it shipped.

The new ones are good if you change all the plastic washers and other hardware to metal.
My buddy bought one from H&Y and it worked half assed till we swapped out the hardware.
