Where can i find this transistor the cheapest ? I have found a few on ebay but they are kinda pricey. Just looking to see if anyone on here has a good place to buy these cheaper....

Well I put everything back as it was. Im swinging about 25 watts from a 2 w dead key. Do you think the schosky diode mod for the receive is worth the trouble?

I would be happy if I got a 10-15 watt gain but I got no gain at all. I also noticed on ssb now that the meter light dims when I key up. I am going to put it back to factory with the 1969 final.

Today I did the ERF-2030 mosfet mod I found on cbtricks and followed it to the tee. When I hooked the radio back up I was getting the same power output as I did with the stock 1969 transistor. Is there anything else I can do to get the mosfet to put out more power? As of now that was a waste of...

What if i did the mosfet change and then unhooked the internal power supply and ran it to my ps-36kx power supply. I have already upgraded to the 2sb817 regulator and the am amp to a 2sa1012 and install all schottsy diodes in the nb and receive. The mosfets do put out a little more swing but...

Ok guys I won't do the mosfets I will just do a swing kit. All I do know is that this dx2527 won't drive my KL503 nearly as hard as my dx-959 mobile did with mosfets in it. The dx959 was doing around 300 and all i can get with the dx2527 is 200 w.

Ok I have a galaxy dx-2527 with the EPT295013Z board and im wanting to swap the finals to mosfets. Can anyone please tell me what is needed to do this or are they just a drop in.

I have a Galaxy dx-2527 on the way and it has the blue led light mod done to the lights. I saw on youtube where a guy modded his to turn red on transmit and back to blue on receive. Does anyone know how this modd is done? Would love to do it to mine. Thanks in advance...
