Undertaker I have done some reading on this not that I'm and expert by anymeans. But from what I have read The pros say that ghost usally stay where they loved or where some bad expierence happened to them like if they were killed. It is where the heart wants to be.
I will have to move the antenna. I'm just right now testing the swr and trying to see if I have done a good job. I'm always trying to figure out where I can put this antenna. I've got a lot of trees and stuff around, my hope is that this tree I'm using is just a trunk that is approximatley 10...
Well the weather here isnt cooperating with me to get a pic just wondering would copper be a better material to make this antenna out of just trying to figure out the best way to make this. I really like making my own antennas and would like to try and make more. I wouldn't even mind trying to...
what kind of mods where done to it anything that might cause an interuption in the audio Like an echo board I'm betting it is something with that noise toy have some one take it out or diable it and try to transmit on am that way
Ok I think I figured it out my antenna is way to long I never took into consideration the coax. Also the connection is 11 foot off the ground it is vertical and the coax is at a ninety degree to the antenna I have the bottom of the antenna 2 1/2 foot off the ground. I have it mounted to a tree...
I went to the dipole calculator should I measure the whole thing with the dowel included or not since it is an insulator. If I run it at channel 20 and set the length for that with equal amounts of the pipe on each side might that help
I built a Conduit dipole cut the poles to 8 foot 7 1/2 inches and cant get the swr down on channel 23 it 2.5-1 on channel 1 it is 2.2 to 1 on 12 it is 2.5 to 1 am i doing some thing wrong I can't figure it out help
I have read somethings I don't like about the a-99. I know some people love them but I've read where they are cheaply built. I had one given to me a few years back and I was told it didn't work so I got looking into it and the resistor in the base was smoked. changed the resistor and it worked...
I'm building a conduit pole dipole will be up later today. I just figured that if I go to the store and get the stuff to make and antenna for 7 dollars and take a little of my time and have a decent antenna then give it a try before I go buy a 5/8 ground plane
