with bottom cover removed and radio facing away from you the 3 pin socket will be right behind the channel display..there is a pc board there and its located there....turn radio off before doing this and after you plug in the module it will display 24.0000 when you power the radio back up
beware make sure richard at 8541 tunes it and not one of the other yahoo's that also work there..10-4 but they do have the right eqpt. and Justin definitely qualifies.
got the channels....how much easier can that be? not much!! now how do I get some forward power when rf power is cranked all the way with a carrier set at 45 watts...I have no forward from there. what pots?
i drove a 8 foot pipe into the ground leaving about 2 feet above ground then slid the telescoping mast over it and drilled through and through and bolted them together....with a 300 watt carrier my SWR is 1.2 on 80 channels
correct!! using a piece of coax as a "sniffer" the noise is coming from the wires that run from the ecm to the connection on the head where the leads to the injectors are...without applying throttle there is no noise....only when I get on the throttle.....tried gronding, ferrite,moving...
