A TS 350 will light a 48" tube from about 3-4 feet without ever touching it to the antenna.

Keep your radio to ground rod wire as short as possible.

As far as I know mechanical injection pumps are a thing of the past. That said as your boost level rises so does the "pulse width" to the injectors to dump more fuel (fuel flow and boost are directly related). ECM and injectors are know to cause lots of electrical noise.

How about a good magnetic mount with a 48" or so whip on it? Also you could swap your mirrors for the regular truck style mirrors and use a mirror mount. :twisted:

What you want is the blue loc-tite (220), it is removable. The red-loc-tite is permanent, it takes heating with a torch to get that stuff undone, and if you did that you would probaly ruin the antenna.
