re old radio I would just sell the radio on ebay and go out and buy a nice new radio and be done with it that way he is happy with it then spend a lot of money to get a old radio to work and sound good and still have a old radio when done for the price of a repair for that old radio you can get...

how do you all fill about a 4 foot fire stick on a gumdrop mount on the trunk I have the mount installed just looking for a good antenna to put on it I know its not the best place for a mount but that is what I got to deal with

959 I got a refurd 959 with duel finals just like new and happy with it

amps texas star dx 350 mine swings to 400 watts does good on am and ssb go to fatboy amps .com they have a nice 2 pill with a fan for 200.00

tune ??? whatis a good tune ? I never had one that was more then crank up the power and mod all the way up from any shop

reply yes the trunk lid is all metal and the ground strap goes to a good metal ground too it grounds to the speaker deck and the antenna coil is about roof hight too the set up talks fine I just wanted a lower swr befor I pun in my mosfet amp I don't think it will hurt the amp at 1.5 swr...
