Hello I have acquired a Washington d858 usb & lsb has modulation movement very well on the meter but in am mode needle barley moves during modulation , also I tried adjusting the proper vr’s to get it to work but still same issues thanks

Hello guys I acquired another 142gtl this time it’s not d1 & d2 radio has been recapped also i follow the alignment procedure and seems L8 & L9 have to raise the cores all the way up to get my recieve but still not there any help would be great .

I'm learning as I go thanks everyone

Found the issue d1 & 2 where shorted my recieve is back

squlech does work smeter works as well on TX and so does the modulation meter

Thank you for your response , receive was working before a recap , as for the rx-tx light it works I do get 10 watts when I tx on am thanks. Also did notice I do get static on noise from the radio as well . Thank you

I recapped my 142gtl recently was working on receive before a full recap, i lost my receive i also verified my caps are not installed backwards any help would be appreciated.also forgot to mention when i turn volume all the way up i get this loud strange noise. where should i test in the radio ?
