I just got my Grant 2 today and the frequency mod was easy and only took a few seconds. I just want to make 100% sure I have the AM power pot location right. It appears to be rt204 AMP. I know a few of you have this radio and would appreciate your input. Is rt204 the AM power pot?

I'd like to see pics of your install when you can post some. I've got mine set up this way with quick connects so I can remove the whole setup in about a minute. Take the whole radio rack in the house. Throw in a floor mat and take the family out.

Great DX videos with the 980. Even though the galaxy has more features and frequencies the 980 is better quality. it makes me want to retire the galaxy and put the 980 back in the car.

It was a wal mart brand road master combo for $49.00 It came with a cb radio and one of those cheap mag mount antennas. Kept it for a very short time then bought a midland compact size radio with a k40.
