He returned my 2000 with the clock/counter busted so there's that. The box it shipped in was not dented. By itself that means next to nothing but taken with the others reports and add in the fact he never responded to my emails when before he always had, the mystery deepens.

Mike was on most radio related sites a few months ago. That's why his videos often delt with misconceptions of our hobby. He knew the players in the game and laughed at most of them. Nobody is trying to "tear the man down". That's just crazy talk.

Evidence points to his work being sub contracted out. Who knows.

Buy some spray contact cleaner, like DeoxIT D5, off eBay and squirt some in the selector guts. Works like a dream.
